When we fight over the script - the one with the character

INT - K25 Conference room - Night

A Group of filmmakers, including Akash and Ajay, sit around a table, engaged in a spirited discussion of screenplay they have been writing.
Akash: (with the screenplay in hand) So, right now, the character seems to be coming along great, but there still needs to be enough to show that the character has gone insane.
Ajay: (nodding) Yes, absolutely, I think, there is enough suffering for the character to be insane, but it requires that one pivotal scene, where there is no doubt that she can go and has gone insane.
Maya: (leaning forward) The mother has suffered a lot in her marriage but I think she will not harm her own grand kid, as there will always be that motherly feeling towards him. Her love that gone insane and has become her obsession due to what she has gone through in her life is something that needs to come through. Remember, in Thumbad, the grandmother becomes an entity through greed, here the mothers suffering is the lack of love.
Raj: (nodding in agreement) Yeah, but then what if she doesn’t remember herself like the grandmother in Thumbad, and doesn’t know what she is doing. She is just doing what she feel is right for her pain, not knowing if that’s her grandchild or her son.
Akash (nods with approval) This is really good, something to bite on, and maybe I’ll work on her becoming an entity. But mostly I feel, there is enough suffering and pain, but we need one scene or one big emotion to justify that pain.
Kabir: (chiming in) This is all great, the one think we should revisit is the pacing of the screenplay. I think there are moments where the narrative feels a bit sluggish, and tightening up the pacing could help us maintain the audience's engagement from start to finish.
Aarav: (considering) Agreed. But we need to keep in mind, how and where to lead or mislead the audience, and revealing the plot at the right moment, so they can keep guessing and become part of the story, as if things are happening to them. The character and the audience should find things at the same time, so as to make them feel that they are with Suhana in the house.
Ajay: (nodding) This is just great, but keep in mind the dialogues should be authentic and impactful. Everything, the character speaks should be through her perspective and what she feels is happening and not through our perspective of what the writer is feeling. This is very important, to not dominated the character through our perspective, but rather write the characters perspective of what they are going through.
Akash: (enthusiastically) Absolutely! This is just amazing. Lot’s more to come…
